only4ludo ("we", "us", or "our") operates the only4ludo mobile apps and the website at only4ludo.com (the "Service"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We built only4ludo to be fun and private — we don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
The short version: We collect only what's needed to run a multiplayer game — the display name you choose, basic gameplay and connection data, and your subscription status. Voice chat is streamed directly between players and is never recorded. We don't sell your data, run ads, or track you across other apps.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Display name. The name you enter to join or host a game. It does not need to be your real name and is shown to other players in your room.
- Voice chat audio. If you choose to join voice chat, your microphone audio is streamed in real time to the other players in your room. This audio is sent peer-to-peer and is not recorded, stored, or accessible to us.
Information collected automatically
- Gameplay data. Room codes, player turns, dice rolls, token positions, and game results — used only to run the live game and discarded when the game ends.
- Connection data. Your device's IP address and connection metadata are used to establish the real-time game connection and, for voice chat, to negotiate a direct peer connection. We do not use this to build a profile of you.
- Device basics. Platform (iOS, Android, or web) and app version, used for compatibility and troubleshooting.
Subscription information
- If you start a free trial or subscribe, your purchase is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see or store your payment card details.
- We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We receive a non-payment identifier and whether your "Pro" entitlement is active, so the app knows whether you can host games.
2. How we use information
- To create and run multiplayer game rooms and match you with other players you invite.
- To provide optional in-game voice chat.
- To determine whether your subscription is active (hosting is a paid feature; joining is always free).
- To keep the Service secure, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse.
3. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Other players in your room — your display name and, if enabled, your live voice audio.
- Service providers who help us operate the app: Apple and Google (payments and app distribution), RevenueCat (subscription management), and STUN servers used to set up voice connections.
- Legal compliance — if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
4. Data retention
Live gameplay data exists only for the duration of a game and is not permanently stored. Voice audio is never recorded. Subscription status is retained for as long as you have an account/subscription with the app stores, as needed to provide the paid features.
5. Your choices and rights
- Voice chat is optional — you control your microphone and can mute or leave voice at any time.
- Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled anytime in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have rights to access or delete personal data. Contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
6. Children's privacy
only4ludo is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted (TLS) connections, to protect data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. International users
only4ludo is available worldwide. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected in the app or on this page.
